THE MINDS BEHIND THE NEWSLETTER

Nadeesh is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Psychology, University of Delhi. His research interests include performance psychology, sport psychology, and the psychology of religion and spirituality. When he’s not reading an obscure research article, you’ll find him in the mountains, watching birds and making music. He also runs an academically informed YouTube channel called 'do you see the light?' https://www.youtube.com/@DYSTL_9

Tushya Sachan is a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Delhi. Her research explores online gaming communities, social capital, and identity dynamics. She enjoys studying how players experience game worlds and build connections, often with a qualitative lens. Her work sits at the intersection of social psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, game studies, and internet culture, and she brings both scholarly rigor and a genuine gamer’s curiosity. When she isn't working on her PhD, Tushya can usually be found enjoying adventures in Destiny 2, Valheim, and the oceans of Subnautica.
